This contribution proposes to trace the pathways of receiving, accumulating and reading the information coming from the external world. The intriguing subject is dealing mainly with suggestions in the realm of common knowledge in Biophysics, Physiology and Molecular Biology. Even though these suggestions have not vet been fully supported by experimental data, the reasoning seems to hold up with a certain logic and can be used as a basis for a long-term program of researches concerning the old but always new open problem of brain memory.
