European Journal of Translational Myology expected to receive Impact Factor in 2023

2022-10-14

According to the most recent announcement by Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics on July 26, 2022, all Web of Science Core Collection journals will receive a Journal Impact Factor in the 2023 Journal Citation Report (JIF). This involves expanding the JIF beyond the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) to include journals from the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) and the multidisciplinary Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).

The annual Journal Citation Reports allow the research community, publishers, and librarians to evaluate and compare the scholarly impact of the world's high-quality journals using a variety of indicators, descriptive data, and visuals.

In 2018, the European Journal of Translational Myology was included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
Based on the aforementioned modifications to the Journal Citation Reports for 2023, European Journal of Translational Myology will receive its first impact factor in June 2023.

It will not only be a new landmark for European Journal of Translational Myology, but also a great encouragement for all supporters of the journal.
