Hospitals must develop programs to prevent aggressive events on work. It is necessary to create multidisciplinary work teams to identify risk factors and to elaborate strategies for prevention and management. It is essential to make health workers aware and adequately trained to face the risk to be victim of violence. They should know strategies to reduce the risk too.
